The Technology at Our Office:

In each of our dental treatment rooms, there are two televisions. They are conveniently positioned on the wall in front of the patient chair as well as on the ceiling!  Watch your favorite channel for a pleasant distraction during your appointment. We also have the ability to display x-rays and pictures on the screens.

Learn about our digital x-rays HERE.

For those that wish to participate in this service, we have the ability to send text message reminders prior to your scheduled appointment. We can also communicate with you via text message in certain situations to ensure that you are able to respond at a convenient time for you.

Intraoral cameras allow for us to take pictures of the inside of your mouth to better explain conditions and recommended treatment.

Being able to show you a visual aid on the screen in front of you, allows for a much more effective explanation that leads to a better understanding of what we are talking about.

We keep electronic records.

Digital impressions in dentistry represent a cutting-edge technology that allows dentists to create a virtual, computer-generated replica of a patient’s oral structures using optical scanning devices or lasers. In fact, this modern technique replaces traditional physical molds with a more accurate and comfortable digital process.

Specifically, digital impressions are captured using an intraoral scanner, which is a wand-like tool connected to a computer. During the procedure, the dentist moves this wand over the patient’s teeth and gums, capturing detailed 3D images of the oral cavity. As the scan progresses, the software processes the data and creates a real-time, manipulable 3D rendering of the patient’s mouth on a nearby monitor.

CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) scans are an advanced imaging technology that has revolutionized diagnostic capabilities in dentistry. Unlike traditional 2D X-rays, CBCT scans provide detailed 3D images of teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways, and bone structures in a single scan.

This technology uses a cone-shaped X-ray beam that rotates around the patient’s head, capturing multiple images from various angles. These images are then reconstructed into a comprehensive 3D model, offering dentists and specialists an unprecedented view of the oral and maxillofacial region.
